Moyer Rd. - Old Welland Canal Bridge

If you're planning any routes towards Port Colborne and are taking the usually route. The entire Old Welland Canal bridge tarmac on Moyer Rd. is ground up with loose, deep gravel (200m) shoulders. There's no signs indicating construction, so watch yourself. With caution it's still a ridable road however.

An alternate route be to Chippawa Creek Rd. all the way to the Welland Canal where it wraps around and than take Biggar Rd.

Portage Rd. & Mountain Rd. Construction

Carlton St. Construction

Carlton Street is closed after the Steward Rd. 4-way stop heading eastbound. Saw this on a group ride today. Not sure of the details.

Port Robinson Rd. Construction

Port Robinson Rd. from Station St. to Rice Rd. is still unusable. Headiing westbound you can jog around it by taking a left on Rice Rd., a right on Merritt Rd., another right on Pelham St. and then a left on Church Hill to Canboro Rd.

Canboro Rd./Church St./Maple St. Intersection Construction

From the Royal Bank on Canboro Rd. before Maple St. to just past Church St. (and some of Church St.) is a ton of loose stone. This is a popular junction for many routes but should be avoided unless you want to come to a crawling pace.

Gardner Rd. Construction

I might be slightly off with the marker location but there is approximately 50 meters of loose stone. It's definitely ridable but Beechwood Rd. might be a better option.

Construction on HWY 20 W from Haist St. to just past Pelham St.

The road is stone on HWY20 from Haist St. to just past Pelham St. If you're coming from Effingham, you will have to cyclecross a bit of Haist Rd. to bypass it by takingĀ Canboro Rd. to Church Hill St. to College St. and left on Station St.

Corner of Kalar Rd. & McLeod Rd. Construction

The road is under construction from the corner of Kalar Rd. and McLeod Rd. up to Pin Oak Dr. (set of lights at Lowe's).
